Seniorenheim Pradl
Ein besonderer Ort für ein neues Senioren- und Pflegeheim für 120 Bewohner. Die Gebirgskette Innsbrucks prägt das landschaftliche Bild der Umgebung. Das Grundstück liegt im Stadtteil Pradl am östlichen Rand eines großen, klein strukturierten Wohngebietes oberhalb einer Hangkante, welche nach Nordosten hin in Richtung des stadtteilprägenden Grünzuges um zwei Geschosse abfällt. Die Aufgabe besteht darin, eine Lösung für eine qualitätsvolle Integrierung der großen Baumasse mit 120 Bewohner bezüglich örtlicher Topografie und städtebaulicher Situation zu entwickeln.
Ein unverwechselbares Gebäude ist entstanden, aus dem Dialog mit dem Kontext und der Notwendigkeit eine starke Interaktion von Heim und Stadt zu ermöglichen und einen lebendigen Lebens- und Arbeitsraum für die Heimbewohner zu schaffen. Notwendig war eine Bauform und ein Wegenetz, welche ein fließendes Raumkontinuum zulassen und alle verschieden nutzbare Außenbereiche miteinander verbindet.
Das aus der Situation entstandene Gebäude besteht im Prinzip aus einer Hauptdreiecksstruktur mit jeweils an den Ecken ausgestülpten Wohn- und Essbereichen mit Terrassen die in alle Himmelsrichtungen orientiert sind. So wird die notwendige Kleinteiligkeit des Baukörpers erreicht.
Das Besondere an dem Grundriss ist die pulsierende Raumerfahrung zwischen dem eher geschlossenen Stützpunktbereich mit Atrium und den sich zum Außenraum hin öffnenden Wohn- und Essbereichen, Terrassen und Aufenthaltsbereichen die im Gegensatz zum Hauptbaukörper als Einzelhäuser gestaltet sind und so zugleich auf die Kleinteiligkeit der Umgebung eingehen. Es gibt keine Nordzimmer.
Die Wohn- und Essbereiche haben alle Südsonne, die drei gemeinsamen Terrassen sind in alle Himmelsrichtungen orientiert mit weitem Blick vorbei an den Häusern und geben jeder Wohngruppe eine eigene Qualität und Unverwechselbarkeit.
A special place for a new nursing home for 120 residents.
The mountains are dominating the panorama of Innsbruck. The site is located in Pradl, a district of Innsbruck.
The task was to develop a solution for good integration of the large building mass with 120 residents respectingof local the topography and the urban situation.
A special building was created to allow the dialogue with the context and the need for a strong interaction between home and city and to create a vibrant living and working space for the residents.
What is needed is a design and a network of paths, which allow a flowing space continuum connecting all usable outdoor areas together.
The resulting situation from the building basically consists of a main triangle structure with bulged each corner living and dining areas with terraces oriented in all directions. So the necessary smallness of the building is achieved.
The special feature of the plan is the vibrant experience of space between the more closed base area with atrium and the spaces towards the exterior, open living and dining areas, terraces and common areas. They are designed as single houses as opposed to the main building. The living and dining areas have all the southern sun, the three common terraces in all directions oriented with extensive views over the houses and give each group a separate living quality and distinctiveness.
